As the winter falls upon us those of you home schoolers who let your kids wile away the afternoons playing outside during the spring, summer and fall may be looking at the bleak months ahead with dismay.  Worry not my fellow moms! (Ahem, and dads too!)  Below you will find some perfectly wonderful ways to keep your kiddos occupied while the snow swirls.

• Moon Sand
• Popsicle stick houses
• Sponge painting (and finger painting)
• Collage making with magazines
• Chess
• Basic electrical kits
